Modelled on the Ion AmpliSeq Cancer Hotspot Panel v2 — the most widely-cited starter panel for somatic cancer variant detection. Covers the canonical drivers (TP53, KRAS, BRAF, PIK3CA, EGFR, …) plus a curated set of context genes useful across solid tumors. Use it as a starting point for clinical research, then trim or extend the gene list to match your study.
